well, as my project took a bit of a wrong turn i thought i post two cheeky blogs today. this way i will have a larger scope of pictures to chose from, that are more in-keeping with the new direction of my project

im not entirely sure about this new direction im taking, but i do like what i've taken and feel the pictures i've produced are more representitive of what the project is about

my day starts.....it ends.

well i thought id started the project well, getting stuck right into it. Quite clearly though, seemed to lose my way pretty quickly
with some idea's fuelled by the class i've started with a new idea but keeping the initial essence of my project in mind. now looking at the idea of circles through a more metophorical view
there's not too much time left to experiment with this now but im going to look at my everyday actions and movements that seem to occur and subsequently re-occur

henry the hOOver

okay so i feel like maybe im moving myself into a bad place with this project.......

i thought ah i know i'll have some time out, give myself a break for a while, a bit of de-circling time! oh and what better way than to totally blitz my room?!! hahahaa i must be bored! so off i tootle......hand in hand with henry ready to fight grime! and they've got to him!! i mean he's covered in them! ='(

i managed to hold it together + take some photographical evidence, i've added four.
it's stomach churning stuff, but have a look if you can take it................

can i get anyone a circle?

as i come into the......8th day, (thanks to owain for keeping track!) i find myself enjoying the project more + more. i don't know about anyone else but i wasn't taking photo's everyday + i think it's been an excellent way to get me motivated to do so. not only doing it but happily too!

my project has begun to feel like a quest, a personal mission to seek out and photograph these elusive circles that surround me in my day to day existence.

this projects runnin' rings round me!

im not entirely sure if the route im taking with this project is the right one, but what i do know is that i am starting to get into it and actually enjoying myself. it's quite fun finding all these circles........they're everywhere!! i fear they may take over my life!

so, after havin a few days of deep thought trying to find a lead on where to take this project, i find myself just going round in circles.......
so maybe this could be my thread!
in college i remember looking at work by people like stephen shore, who often photographed mudane everyday objects in, around and out the home. i always enjoyed looking at his work and feel this could be a good direction to take my work.

apparently i need to find some thread. i will not stand around looking for it though, i shall move onward with my project + hopefully find it somewhere along the way!

my weekend

My weekend consisted of two days and three nights, or so im led to believe. As another one comes and quickly leaves me, i am ever more convinced that they amount to nothing more than one night!
